Into the wild!

This afternoon was a typical spring day. It went from cloudy to sunny all day long. Snow geese flying overhead. As I stopped watching them I could hear cracking of old branches in the bush, a snap, and then a sound of something brushing against the old trees. My eyes scanned the bush, trying to find what was making the sound. To my delight. It was Molly and her yearling. They look like they’ve had a very good winter.

This was one of the very few times I was wishing I had brought a smaller lens with me than my 800 mm. All I was able to capture was a headshot. But what a beautiful head she has.

This is a reminder that we all have to stop for a moment. To just pause. See what all surrounds us. If I had been in a hurry, I would’ve never noticed them. By taking a moment, it made my day. Sometimes it’s the little things that can put a big smile on your face.
