One Day At A Time

This evening there was a gentle summer breeze. It was finally starting to cool off for the night. The birds are just singing away. I pause for a moment to enjoy the simplicity that surrounds me. I feel so blessed. I remind myself that everything in life happens for a reason. We don’t always know why. Life is not always a glorious book. We have so many chapters in our lives. Some that we would gladly skip. Some that we would like to go back to again and again. There’s laughter, tears, birth, and death. There’s no way around it. Make the happy chapters longer than the sad ones. Always remember our ending has not yet been written. It is up to us on how we will finish it.
